Frequently asked questions
Was Muses named FFMp3 in the past?
Yes! The project name changed to Muses Radio Player on Sep 1st, 2012.
The reason is simple: "FFMp3 player" stands for Free Flash MP3 player, and as the project now supports MP3, OGG and AAC codecs while also having Flash and HTML5 support, we decided that the name had to change.
So, we picked the name Muses as a nicer and more accurate name for the project.
"The Muses, in Greek mythology, poetry and literature, are the goddesses of the inspiration of literature, science and the arts."... Wikipedia
